Capitol Reef

This weekend was another weekend in Wayne County! I went over to watch the kids while Jaime and Chad went Christmas shopping. It was a great weekend, except that little Bracken was sick. I felt so bad for him! Saturday night, Mckay came over and we went to the movie Four Christmases. Then today we decided just to take a little Sunday drive to Capital Reef. It was really pretty with all the snow but super freezing!

Wayne County

On Sunday I took a drive to Wayne County where both my sisters live. Bracken had a piano recital, and it was just good to hang out with all my nephews and niece. They are so cute, and I love hanging out with them! 

Blog to vent....?

Today has been quite an interesting day, or should I say boring. It kinda started later last night when my ability to pout and be amazingly stubborn got the best of me. I was supposed to go on an overnight horse ride with Mckay and some other friends. I, because of my bad combination of qualities, decided not to go. I figured I'd have plenty to do on a Saturday and didn't feel the least bit bad about it. This morning I got up and of course did some hair, only for about 3 hours. Then I came home and watched a movie, which turned out to be a total disappointment. I headed to the store to get another movie. I won't lie, I seriously got Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. I forgot what it felt like to feel alone, and as I laid on the couch I caught myself regretting that I hadn't went on the ride. I felt so selfish for just letting my stubbornness ruin what most likely could have been an awesome time. I also felt bad that I had not been that nice to Mckay, after all, this was just time that I could have spent with him. Not at home watching football, but doing something we both like. Moral of this blog, don't let your pride and stubbornness get the best of you!

So this weekend, my Dad wanted me and Brace to go for a horse ride.  We decided to go down the Escalante River, it seriously is way pretty down there. I had a great time with my Dad and Brace. Brace is actually training my horse Pixy. I was pretty excited to see how well she is doing! Once you get down into the canyon there is seriously no wind at all and its so quiet. We took a couple of pictures and messed around before we headed out of the canyon. 

Thanksgiving...

Thanksgiving this year I had my friend Vicky from Oregon here. We had a blast! She is awesome. Erica came with us too! We had a lot of late night talks and good rides in the rain. I want to eventually go up to Oregon and visit her... 

First Post!

Ok, so everyone is doing the blog thing and I love to just look at everyone's blogs. Its so fun. So I decided to get my own! I told Mckay I was going to make us one and Im pretty sure he's not crazy about the idea but hopefully he'll let me get some pictures of him! Hopefully I'll catch on!
